Outsidedown Productions can take your analog audio, transfer it to a digital format, and perform editing, restoration, or basic mastering and create a final audio CD or a DVD/Blu-ray archive disc of your audio recordings. You can order one disc, or multiple copies. You can order a disc only, or add a case, a printed cover, and more. Your project can be very simple or more customized depending on your needs and budget. The introductory studio rate for audio is $20 per hour plus materials. The final cost (plus sales tax) depends on the simplicity or complexity of your order.
Audio mastering services (beyond basic) are available for new recordings about to be released, and also vintage recordings that need mastering / re-mastering. Whether the recording project is going to be an official release to the public, or is personal and precious to you alone, it will sound it’s very best when taken to the next level with professional audio mastering. Ask for a quote.
Many analog audio formats can be converted to high resolution digital. Other formats may follow as people request them. If you would like to convert a format not shown, please ask about it. If you have a large enough project, or multiple requests have been made by customers, the format may be made available. Check out the Audio page and Rates page for more details.
Video
Outsidedown Productions can take your analog video, convert it to a high resolution digital format, and perform editing, restoration, or basic mastering to create a final DVD or Blu-ray disc of your video recordings. You can order one disc, or multiple copies. You can order a disc only, or add a case, a printed cover, and more. You can have your final project written to a flash drive, external hard drive, or sent to you electronically. Your project can be very simple or more customized depending on your needs and budget. The final cost (plus sales tax) depends on the simplicity or complexity of your order.

Photo
Outsidedown Productions can scan your photos and printed media to a high resolution digital format and do restorations, repairs, color correction and other manipulations as needed. Your images can be archived on a DVD or Blu-ray disc for storage or made into a digital scrapbook or slideshow that you can view on your computer, tablet or television. Outsidedown Productions can also create wedding slideshows, memorial (funeral) slideshows, or event slideshows (family, workplace, vacation, etc.) that can be silent, put to music, or feature an added voice-over narration. Your images can also be incorporated into a video project. The studio rate on these projects is $20 per hour plus materials (discs, cases, etc.) and sales tax. Licensing fees for background music may apply as well.
Rates
Outsidedown Productions charges by the hour so that your project can be totally customized to your needs and goals. The cost is lower if the project is simple, and the cost rises as the project reaches different levels of volume and complexity. A rough estimate – based on the details of a new project – will be given to any potential client upon request. Progress updates and communication with you during the project insure that there are no ‘surprise charges’, and adjustments can be made to the project goals along the way if costs begin to mount beyond a comfortable level. Keeping the project affordable and the customer happy with the final results are my highest priority.
Bands / Musical Acts
Outsidedown Productions has many services for bands and other musical acts! Audio services include transferring analog media to digital – also audio mastering old and new projects alike for commercial release or personal use. Video services include transferring your analog video to digital, making compilations for commercial or personal use on DVD or Blu-ray, live performance videography or production of promotional videos. Graphic Arts services include graphic layouts for your CD, DVD, Blu-ray, or vinyl record releases. Posters, postcards, advertisements, logo and t-shirt design are also available. Photo services include shooting new indoor or outdoor band/performing artist photos or restoring old photos. Outsidedown Productions can serve the needs of many different customers, but is very experienced working with musical media!
Slideshows
Outsidedown Productions does photo slideshows for weddings, memorials/funerals, and any event or project you can dream up. The photos can be cleaned up or repaired to varying degrees, or left as is. You can mix video and other printed works along with your photos into the project. It can be silent or with music or voice narration. You can add text and animation.
